Give Up is the ninety-sixth chapter of the Kuroko no Basuke manga.
Summary
The boys go to see Riko; she, however, refuses to help them unless they are aiming for the top-becoming No.1 in the country. Kiyoshi again tries different methods to recruit Hyuuga, but he keeps running away. Finally, Kiyoshi challenges him in a one-on-one match. Hyuuga replies that he knows that Kiyoshi is one of the Uncrowned Kings-the “Iron Heart”. Nevertheless, he won’t back down. After repeated attempts though, he can’t defeat Kiyoshi. He tells Hyuuga to give up. Hyuuga blatantly refuses.
However, Kiyoshi states he means that he should give up on giving up basketball. He himself has tasted defeat against Teiko’s giants, the Generation of Miracles. He adds that he can tell Hyuuga likes basketball even more than he does. Hyuuga shouts back angrily that he knows—that’s why he is so bored every day.
