Masami Meguro (目黒 正巳, Meguro Masami) is the former power forward of Nakamiya South High.

Meguro has dreadlocks and brown skin. He is tall and unusually muscular.
He wears the Nakamiya South High uniform with the number 6.

Meguro can first appear rough, but he is actually a kind and friendly guy who is very emotional.

Round 2[]
Meguro is first seen leaving the stadium with his team-mates after watching Seirin High versus Tōō Academy. They discuss about their surprise to see Too lose and their confidence to beat Seirin.[1] The match goes extremely well for Meguro's team, who are more motivated than their opponent. Meguro manages to beat Rinnosuke Mitobe multiple times for the rebound. After a time out, Seirin's players return to the pitch with slap mark on their faces, which surprise Meguro.
Seirin turns the tide and finally wins at the end at 83-77. Meguro, close to tears, asks Shinji Koganei to win the next matches for their sake.[2]

Meguro is seen heading for the Winter Cup finals with his team-mates.
Etymology[]
- The name Masami means "right, proper" (正) (masa) and "snake" (巳) (mi).
- Masami's surname Meguro means "eye, ogle" (目) (me) and "black" (黒) (kuro/guro).
